Popular sock/apparel company Stance has just launched its second collaboration with the Marley family, debuting a capsule of socks and shirts inspired by Bob Marley & The Wailers’ iconic 1975 Natty Dread tour!

The Natty Dread tour marked the band’s first tour as ‘Bob Marley & The Wailers’, sporting a new lineup featuring the I Threes (back-up vocal trio, including Bob’s wife Rita Marley) and Al Anderson (guitar), after former bandmates Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer decided to pursue solo careers. It began in Miami, Florida on 5 June 1975 and ended in Manchester, England on the 20th of July. The tour yielded a widely acclaimed ‘LIVE!’ album recorded at Lyceum Ballroom in London, among many other iconic concerts such as those at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, Paul’s Mall in Boston, and the Boarding House in San Francisco.

The Stance x Bob Marley t-shirt features the Natty Dread Tour LIVE! album cover, a Dennis Morris photograph of the performance. The sock designs pull from African inspirations, a major theme throughout the iconography of the band since its earliest days.
