In celebration of the 70th Earthstrong of Tuff Gong, the Marley family has opened up their personal vault to the fans and released a brand new, never-before-seen live concert video titled ‘Easy Skanking In Boston’. The show was held at Boston’s Music Hall during the 1978 Kaya Tour, and was filmed by a single cameraman whom Bob allowed to shoot from the front row. It’s some of Marley’s most energetic footage to date, and really gives a unique look into his live performances, making fans feel like they’re actually there watching the show from up close.

The video was released on February 17th, and is available as a CD, DVD/CD, Blu-Ray/CD, and digitally on iTunes and Google Play.

St Ann Gets Bob Marley’s One Love Square

During the 40th anniversary of the original Smile Jamaica concert, Robert Bryan, executive chairman of Grizzly’s Plantation Cove Limited announces the establishment of the Bob Marley’s One Love Square at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St Ann, Marley’s birth parish.

The vision of the collaborators is the establishment of an integrated theme park on 235 acres which will have an entertainment hub, with permanent entertainment facilities to promote live entertainment, and other events, a family amusement park with facilities for sports and camping. The executive chairman of Grizzly’s Plantation Cove Limited also said,”In this square, through the sharing of music, cuisine, and the visual arts, everyone will enjoy the love of earth and the gift of life and the essence of the Jamaican lifestyle.”

The plan is to have Bob Marley’s image and brand manifested throughout the square. It will be including permanent art exhibitions inclusive of original art and large-format photos as well. A new statue of Marley will be mounted in the square.
