Live Forever

"Bob's music has always conveyed a message of hope, unity and love. It has brought countless people together as it did that night 30 years ago in Pittsburgh. To hear that music today and to be able to share it with a new generation shows that Bob is as relevant today as he was 30 years ago"
- Mrs. Rita Marley

Recorded 30 years ago while Marley was touring in support of his album Uprising, Live Forever is Bob Marley's last recorded concert. This never before released audio collection offers an incredible snapshot of one of music's most influential performers.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Live Forever: The Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, PA, September 23, 2010 is a 2CD/3LP/digital collection that features many of Bob's most cherished songs, and is now available.

This unforgettable concert contains unique performances of "No Woman No Cry," "Jammin'," and "Is This Love," to name a few, and depicts a musical innovator and inspiration to people of many cultures and generations. This spectacular audio documentary Live Forever, also immortalizes the last song Marley ever performed live in concert: "Get Up Stand Up," his rally cry for equality.

Please note: Problem with "Highlights" version of Live Forever CD

Thanks to four helpful fans, we just learned yesterday that there was a technical glitch with a certain version of "Live Forever".

This is for people who bought the "Highlights" CD at Target stores - either individually or in the box set. The glitch resulted in only 9 tracks appearing on the album instead of the intended 13.

Many thanks to Brian K., Colleen F., Ian, and Kelli C. for informing us of the problem.

Once Ziggy and Cedella Marley found out, they immediately inquired with Universal to see what was going on and what they would do to fix things for Bob's fans.

After a very busy night, Universal has provided the options below.

But first, most importantly, Universal, and we, are very sorry for this situation.

For those of you who have purchased this disc, you may:

1) Head to Target, they will take back the problem CD, and give you the FULL cd in return. Yep, FULL LIVE 2 CD set. All tracks. (Might not be a bad idea to call first, and make sure they are up to speed on the problem and solution.)

** Might want to get to Target fast, as that's the best deal, and limited time. They are only offering the full CD until the corrected "highlights" version discs come in. **

2) If you can't get back to a Target, Universal will send you a new CD. For more information, you may call 1-800-288-5942 (Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 7:00pm EST) or email: FISHERSCUSTSVC@UMUSIC.COM

3) You can also visit the site below to download the 4 additional tracks missing from the CD. www.ilovethatsong.com/marleytarget

If you have any problems with any of these options, please write to inquiries@bobmarley.com.

Again, to all who purchased this CD, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience whatsoever.
