In celebration of the 70th Earthstrong of Tuff Gong, the Marley family has opened up their personal vault to the fans and released a brand new, never-before-seen live concert video titled ‘Easy Skanking In Boston’. The show was held at Boston’s Music Hall during the 1978 Kaya Tour, and was filmed by a single cameraman whom Bob allowed to shoot from the front row. It’s some of Marley’s most energetic footage to date, and really gives a unique look into his live performances, making fans feel like they’re actually there watching the show from up close.

The video was released on February 17th, and is available as a CD, DVD/CD, Blu-Ray/CD, and digitally on iTunes and Google Play.

Marley Coffee makes donation to Reggae Girlz campaign

As ambassador to the Jamaica National Women’s Football Team, Cedella Marley has been working to help the “Reggae Girlz” get to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Toronto. Together, they recently launched a new IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign to help raise funds, and Cedella has gotten the Marley family of brands involved from the very start. Included as reward perks for donations to the campaign are a brand new track by Cedella, Stephen and Damian (“Strike Hard”), a set of House of Marley earbuds, the Island Records catalog, an exclusive shirt designed by Cedella, a trip to Damian’s “Welcome to Jamrock” Reggae Cruise, and a Marley Coffee gift bag.

Now, Marley Coffee has taken the team one step further with the announcement of a generous donation to the campaign. The company will be giving the Girlz $2,500 to help get them to August’s qualifying finals match in Trinidad. The funding will go towards a few weeks of coaching, housing, proper nutrition and proper training to keep the Reggae Girlz at the top of their game.
